Our Story
Devel was founded in 1998 and, until 2013—before transferring its patents to a world leader in ceramic plant systems—it specialized in the design and construction of decorative machines used in industrial applications.
In 2017, the company decided to enter the automotive sector, building on the experience gained in the ceramic industry. Much of the software and components used today originate from the automation systems Devel previously designed for ceramic processing.
Keeping Up with the Times
This is the path that led to the creation of the Top Automatic 5.0 tire changer: conceived, designed, and fully developed in Italy. While analyzing the workshop equipment market, Devel realized that future competitors were not up to date with current technologies—an opportunity that allowed the company to carve out its own space in the industry.
Devel is a company made up primarily of specialized technicians focused on machine engineering. Its mission is to transform tire shops and workshops into true Industry 5.0 environments—where all machines are interconnected and designed to ease the operator’s workload.
