In what sense is it the first “fully automatic” truck tire changer?
It means that once the wheel is positioned, the machine performs the entire work cycle autonomously. Thanks to laser diagnostics, it self-configures based on the rim dimensions and carries out bead breaking, demounting, and mounting through its patented systems — all managed by a PLC. The operator’s role becomes that of a supervisor, drastically reducing time and physical effort.
How does it ensure safety on alloy rims, which are very expensive?
Protection is ensured by the Intelligent Upper Bead Breaker. Unlike traditional systems, this tool automatically follows the inner profile of the rim thanks to its special geometry. This guarantees precise and effective bead breaking without ever touching the painted or delicate outer surfaces of the rim.
What does “Automatic External Rim Diagnosis” mean?
It is a laser measurement system that automatically and accurately detects the rim’s diameter and width. This information is sent to the machine’s PLC, which instantly adapts all tool movements. This eliminates the need for manual input from the operator and completely removes the risk of setup errors.
What is the operator’s role and how is physical effort reduced?
The operator interacts with the machine through an intuitive 7-inch touchscreen to start the automatic cycle. Physical effort is eliminated thanks to the Multifunction Tecnoservice Unit, which provides the power needed to bead break and extract heavy, rigid truck tires, and the Hydraulic Mounting Tool, which assists during the reinstallation phase.
